[AlpacaTalk] re odd injury

hi Janice - what devastating loss for you, your husband and your mother - and right before a new baby too - my heart goes out to you

do you have any help at all? Do you have family anywhere near? I was a single mom too, but it was from choice, not the horrific circumstances you've suffered. But i found just looking after the kids and their pets was an exhausting job - i gave away our two horses and simplified my life as much as possible but still felt as if i was living from crisis to crisis. Is there anyone who will "foster" some of your animals for you for a while? Are there other alpaca farmers near by who could give you a hand?

Are there any church groups whose youth do work in the community who might help you? Any women's groups?
If i lived close to you i would come in a heartbeat - and bring a good group of women with me - on top of all your other stresses, watching your animals suffer must be agonizing for you.

you are one gutsy woman, but you seem to be driving yourself into the ground with worry and stress and responsibilities. Can you downsize a little and lighten the load? There is no shame in realizing you are not super-woman.
