Ok, so this isn't about alpacas at all, but does anyone have more advice for a hen with sour crop/previously blocked crop?I gave her mineral oil, raw yoghurt, water, 5 drops GSE and water yesterday. Today I found her not much changed although her crop is smaller. A very long piece of poo which was obviously hers was in the pen. Long grass caused the initial blockage. But her crop is still very sour. I'm forcing water, mineral oil, and yoghurt today, and gave one dose of 6 ml water with 5 drops GSE to help with any infection in the crop. But her tail is still down, she doesn't want to eat, and she appears pretty depressed.Any suggestions besides surgery?Heather
