RE: [AlpacaTalk] Buying Fiber
Hello Ernie,
My name is Valerie Witscher and I live in Temple, GA. I have a few years
of fleece and was wondering how much you are paying and if anyone would be
picking up in GA?
Sincerely,
Valerie Witscher

Subject: [AlpacaTalk] Buying Fiber
Hello,
I am still buying alpaca fiber.
I am still in the process of getting the equipment needed for the
commercial fiber mill.
I will be processing both long and short fiber.
My goal is to process at least 100,000 lbs of home grown American
fiber each year.
I have a website being designed now, as soon as it is completed I will
post the link.
Beginning in June I will begin picking up fiber at the farm.
I will be buying 1sts ( Blankets ), 2nds ( Neck ) and 3rds ( Leg and
Belly ) fiber.
I will be making my own end products and yarn that will be available
to everyone in the near future.
I plan to have an array of products to show at the Alpaca Nationals/
World Fiber event next year in Ohio.
This is a very large undertaking and your fiber and patience while I
get this off the ground is greatly appreciated.
Those of you who have already sent fiber I thank you very much it is a
very slow process yet but I am getting the bugs worked out while
hiring and training someone to sort and weigh and your fiber I thank
you for your patience as well.
So don,t leave your fiber stacked up any longer.
For prices and to schedule a pickup at your farm please email me.
