[AlpacaTalk] RE: [alpacapolitics] Re: Romanik v. AOBA

Libby,

Are you really saying that you don't know the answer to your question
already? You were at Ana's 2-day May deposition in Denver. These questions
were asked and answered. Even if the answer had changed since that time you
know we would have been required to notify AOBA by updating the discovery.
You and AOBA reviewed all of our Farm and personal tax returns for several
years and even our General Ledgers. AOBA even hired a Private Detective to
investigate this and other things involving us. This private investigator
was Mike Barnhart from Alpaca Trading Company who's a good friend of your
family, right? I mean really Libby; you were at Ana's deposition as an
"AOBA Corporate Representative" according to AOBA attorneys, so you've had
access to all of this information and more. Is it that you don't know the
answer to the question or is it something more?

Since you're AOBA's Corporate Representative we're sure the membership will
of course find the Board approved motions and so forth that gave you this
position. Isn't that required in order for you to receive the reimbursement
for your expenses to attend Ana's depositions including your first class
airfare of about $800. Are you still serving as AOBA's Corporate
Representative?

Sincerely,
Floyd and Ana Romanik

Hello Heather,

You responded to my second comment. How about responding to the first

Dear Connie,
Your posts are, at best, incredibly immature, and at worst, extremely
insulting.

Do you know anything at all about the lawsuit? Do you know who all of the
original
intervenors were? You might be very surprised. But since the AOBA BOD has
seen fit to
remove the original lawsuit fron the "litigation" section of the member
site, I don't have it
at my disposal. Hopefully Ana or Floyd would be so kind as to post that
info.

The cost of the litigation has been published. Yes, it was expensive.

You don't seem to have any concept of what the litigation was about.
Honestly, I don't
know/remember the details, but it was a lot of behind closed doors hanky
panky. Again,
ther names of ALL of the original intervenors will surely surprise you.

You see, what the Romaniks (and other intervenors) wanted was that AOBA be
transparent
in their operations. What we all want now is that AOBA really work for us
and answer to the
membership.

Do you know that NOTHING is put to membership votes with the exception of
the BOD
itself? And who gets to run for the board is decided by the board. Who gets
to volunteer
to AOBA is decided by the board.

I didn't vote for or approve their taking away our complementary AM
subscription. I didn't
vote for or approve the new requirement that one must be a Farm member to
have the
opportunity to pay another $50 for Show division membership. In the past, I
was a Show
division member as an associate member. I didn't vote for or approve
anything! Because
nothing is put to membership approval. AOBA is not answerable to its
members. The BOD
and candidaets are hand picked by those in charge.

A board member has no limit to the number of terms he/she may serve. Read
your bylaws.

Did you know that there are changes to the bylaws when they moved to and
reincorporated in Tennessee, from when they were headquartered in Colorado?
Important
changes, like accountability to members. They are only accountable to
themselves now.

Some of us feel that this isn't right.

So please, dear Connie, please educate and inform yourself on the issues
before running
off at the mouth and insulting people who are actually trying to make
things right.

Your friend,

Heather
