All we do is pick off as much vegetable matter as possible, and
whatever else, dung tags, you name it. It's acceptable to wash legs and
feet to get mud off, but blankets should be left as natural as
possible. You may groom or trim topknots, too, but any other alteration
or "blocking" is prohibited. So alpacas really require a lot less prep
for shows than other animals, although it doesn't seem that way to me
when we finally get there! :)
I love show, too! They're so much fun and I always learn a lot every
time I go whether I am showing or not.
