we've had great luck using a triple antibiotic eye ointment from our vet.
It contains bacitracin-neomycin-polymyxin....no steroids. We've cleared
some very goopy, cloudy, ulcerated eyes in just 5-6 days. There's usually
noticable improvement in just a couple days.

Never saw that terramycin (sp) sold over the counter did anything for
ulcerations (cloudy). We go straight for the above mentioned ointment. Of
course, it's always best to closely check the eye to be sure there's no foreign
objects first.
