You might try contacting the show division of AOBA, they would be more
helpful in what the judges tend to look for. If you can't tell the
judge why your alpaca had been shorn on those two legs, it's a crap
shoot in the ring!
Also, not that I want to stir up Heather ;o} but every year our
shearers tell us that they are busy all year going to the LARGE farms
trimming up alpacas for shows!!!!!
Once again, a ding for the small guy!
