Re: [Alpacasite] Pesticide SEVIN

Again, this information is not on alpaca tolerance. Rabbits, who a psuedo
ruminants, are often dusted with sevin after they are plucked (or shorn).
The ingredients in sevin, as told to me by a vet (for the rabbits), are the
same as flea powder. Whatever is put on a rabbit must be safe enough for
them to ingest because they groom themselves so much. FWIW, I would not
worry about it especially after reading Cathy Stephenson's post.
