Our vet has given us the 50/50 rule, if under 50 degrees, or 50 lbs, put a
coat on the cria. This has worked great. Although, some of the cria's fleese has
popped the strap, therefore, we do not put a coat on those cria's, more so,
they in the 40ish lb range, close, but do-able,
