Lori, just another thought to tag on to what I said before: if any of the animals you are considering have a cria at side, be sure to check the date of ownership of the dam against the birthdate of the cria, to be sure the cria is also theirs to convey. They may not have registered the cria yet, so there might not be an ARI certificate to check. If they were not officially the owners of the dam at the time of the cria's birth, you would have to get signatures from the dam's former owner in order to register the cria. Just another thought...
