[Alpacasite] Re: Cracked corn

I recently started feeding Blue Seal alpaca feed, which is formulated
by Dr. Norm Evans. This alpaca feed incorporates "steam flaked" corn
into their alpaca feed (6th on the ingrediant list). "Corn distillers
dried grains" is 14th on the list, and "Ground" corn is 17th on the
list. I certainly don't want to cause any acidosis problems with
feeding corn, as mentioned in the recent posts. Am I wrong in
assuming that since Dr. Evans formulated this feed that it is an
appropriate supplement? Am I missing something here?

Just want to do what's best for my critters :-)
