ALPACAS IN MY HOMETOWN??
"Shortly thereafter, as we turned down a dirt road to head back in the right direction after seeing the blimp we came upon an alpaca farm. Alpacas in Ann Arbor! And this was no novelty pet - there was a whole posse of the furry beasts corraled on a lovely farm. I can't imagine what you do with alpacas, something with their hair? I hope it isn't something to do with alternative food sources because they just seemed so neato!
It may seem silly, but seeing those two incongruous things really made my day and because it altered my whole outlook, the day with the kids totally changed from crazy and hectic to mellow and relaxing."
