[AlpacaTalk] RightPet Alpaca page

Hi â€" Heather was nice enough to let me join the group awhile ago. As I mentioned in my last post, we’ve added an Alpaca page to RightPet, and are gathering owner/breeder reviews of these special animals so we can help promote responsible Alpaca ownership.

A little background. RightPet is an international educational site which allows individuals to write reviews of the breeds/species of pets, working animals and livestock they've owned. We have more than 2,500 animals listed on the site so far.

If you have a few minutes to add your thoughts on what makes Alpacas special, your review would be most appreciated. Also, if you are a breeder, please add a free listing for your ranch. To add your listing, just go to the Alpaca page http://www.rightpet.com/Livestock-poultryDetail/alpaca and click the “Breeders” link on the right side and then “Add a new listing”. Breeders are asked to fill out a form which asks about your practices and policies â€" and these answers will be posted on your page. We do this to ensure that only the most reputable studs are included in the directory.

Listings are free and on your page you can add a description, photos, and you can ask your clients to submit recommendations/testimonials.  Having these client recommendations on your page produces good results on Google etc. whenever anyone does a search for your farm. (Only positive comments are allowed on business pages, and this is strictly moderated.)
