I was at the Buckeye show and one of the biggest sellers at the PBS booth was Ultra Calorie 180.

We had an older girl and tried everything, Beet Pulp, DYNE, etc.....

I haven't tried this but JP at PBS loves it and she sells out of it every show.

I have not been on here for quite a while, but saw this thread and saw my girl. I have a girl who is 18. She, at one time, had anaplasmosis (parasite). i got her cleaned up and we keep checking her to make sure she is clean, but I also am having trouble with getting weight on her. She has no cria because I wanted to get her up in weight first as she is a good Mamma.

I am trying some new feed, but am wondering what else I might be able to do to help her.

Another question, we were digging up some dirt i their pasture and found some grubs. Are these a problem with our alpacas and if so, does someone know how to take care of these without hurting the alpacas?
