She is on the thin side, but not horribly thin. I am hoping to see her gain some weight before her Sept. cria is due. She is in with two other pregnant females and a nursing dam……….all of them are getting some alfalfa daily. Do you think I should cut her off the alfalfa and lessen her grain until she is flat?

Hi Laura,

As soon as I wean I cut mom's feed in half. I don't increase again until she is flat. I also sometimes massage with Bag Balm if they are rough.
