Re: [AlpacaTalk] Alpaca Treats

Salt blocks are too hard--they do not like to just lick. This is a semi-hard block that they can actually bite / scrape off some of the block. It is labeled as a sheep/goat block Non-medicated & No copper I have found several brands around here. Not sure of a label name in your area. The most important thing is semi hard labeled for sheep non medicated When I  go out to the barn I will look at the brand. It is the only thing I have ever  gotten mine to use.                                                                                                                 Tina Travis

Hi Tina - which mineral block brand are you feeding?  Is it a salt block with minerals?  We tried that here and my alpacas wouldn't touch it, I'd love to know if there is one out there they like.
