Has anyone ever used progestrone to test for pregnancy? How reliable is it?
We draw progesterone tests for pregnancy, usually at the time of shearing.  They have been 100% accurate for us, where the spit test is not.  I have noticed that a lot of females will always let males breed them, pregnant or not, which runs a risk of slipping a fetus or infecting the female, so I stopped using spit tests anymore, it is just too risky.
