RE: [AlpacaTalk] Pasture Vac

Hi Rob,

I only have experience with one, but at a seminar, several people, including Marty McGee were endorsing Greystone.  We have the Greystone Paddock Vac and love it.  We clean the alpaca barn and pastures, a goat barn and pasture and our chicken coops and yard.  It is worth it’s weight in gold, imo.

They are pricey, but I believe this is a good investment considering the consequences of parasites and this sucks them up and doesn’t spread them around, the way raking can.  The engine is fairly simple. (says my DH) and we expect this machine to last a long while, kind of like a lawn mower.  It will eventually show lots of wear and tear, but as long as it runs…….that’s ok!  It is easy to maneuver and empty, too!

I'm sure this has been asked before but I would like to know which pasture vac (manufacturer) had the best product. or which is the worst.

Thank You,

Rob
