Re: [AlpacaTalk] How is everyone's week so far?
Hi Heather,
Interesting question, especially as we are really two locations.
On the farm side, late April was shearing and the California Classic. Between the classic and last week two new crias arrived, a beige female and a very dark brown to true black male. Dams and crias are doing well. Plus we have made our weekly trip to the farm (a 250 mile round trip) each weekend except for the classic.
On the home side, the health of the last of our four parents (she is 96+) continues to decline. I continue to maintain a listing or available properties in Oregon and Washington for when we are free to leave Silicon Valley and move our herd from agistment in California to our own place (where ever that may be).
Best,

I caught a flu last Friday, we sheared last weekend (50 alpacas!).
Our first two crias are on the ground and doing great, and looking
great, too! The weather has finally warmed up.
How's everything at your farm?
