[AlpacaTalk] Re: bill against farms

I just read an article on this and it also could prohibit people from using and collecting their own seeds (due to requiring facilities/equipment no small farms could afford). Ultimately, this would mean everyone would have to buy their seed from large agro companies (can you say GMO). Also, while this MAY not affect alpaca owners right now (and that is a BIG may) many of us also raise poultry and sell the eggs, and/or other livestock for meat. Another shocker in there is they could prohibit the raising of crops and food animals on the same farm!! Apparently similar laws in other countries (EU, India, Iraq) have resulted in the decimation of small and organic farms.

Please, call your senators!
