I would check the red blood cell and protein counts asap. If low, my
money is on epe (micoplasmahaemalama). It's thought that a dam can be a
carrier and it can pass thru to her fetus. Just a bit of stress can cause it
to flourish and affect an animal, especially a cria. Over the years we and
others that we've advised , have treated crias for epe without actually
sending the blood out to Oregon State U. for a PCR test.

If it's epe.....you'll see marked improvement by the 4th or 5th injection.
