RE: [AlpacaTalk] Alpacas in Rose Parade
They didn't raise enough money quick enough to have the float in the
2009 parade, so they were going to have it for the 2010 parade. But, I
went on the site a few days ago and there is a note that the project has
been cancelled because we can't raise enough money. Looks like to date,
there was a little over $42K raised, but I think it takes over 100K or
something like that. It's too bad because it's a beautiful float design.
I think it would have been very exciting to see an alpaca float.
I don't think I can post the link on this site, but if you go to the
AOBA website, there is a tab on the top that has information about the
parade. They left the information for us to see.
