This person really wanted to chat?

Really wanted to understand your point of view in ways beyond what
are reflected on the Internet?

Wanted to hear, understand and respond personally to your concerns?

What if it really were not a conspiracy?

I would suggest giving the call back that was requested, and only
then forming your conclusions.
