[AlpacaTalk] RE: catching up
<<<<Since you have difficulty getting your pacas to a vet, separating
them is the simplest, most humane and cost effective thing to do to
prevent possible further problems.
I strongly advise this course of action as a breeder for ten years now.
Best of luck, and glad to hear Merry is doing so much better.

Rachelle>>>
Thank you Rachelle for your concern and continuing to emphasize; I am
touched. I am taking what you and Heather are saying to me to heart,
but probably would continue to put it off due simply to lack of time and
money. Spent yesterday, the first decent day we have had in a long
while, out there with my guys and trying to noodle out how to best
handle separating them. Not something I can do today, but I am working
on a solution.
Thank you for your caring enough to gently pressure me and emphasize
your points. I often assume that those of you with many that are
handling your animals as professionals have different standards (and
more money, resources, and help) that those of us who just have them
because we love them can't always live up to. But I never ever want to
cause any harm to my beloved alpacas, and will always do all in my power
to ensure their safety and well being.
Warmly, Janice
