I think this post has done that. :) If anyone wishes to donate or
contact Gary, please do so off-list.
I really prefer that this group remain mostly free of any advertising.
I personally don't mind Ellie Winslow's posts, or those for alpaca
pre-natal seminars, etc., because they are a benefit to all alpaca
breeders (even though there is a profit to those holding the seminars
or what have you). I don't mind a certain amount of announcements for
shows, as that is an equal opportunity event.
While your post is certainly not profit driven, it only very obliquely
touches on the alpaca community, and in that respect, I don't feel it's
appropriate to promote it here any further. However, the postings about
the beheaded cria and asking for donations for the reward fund does
absolutely affect the alpaca community. It may be a fine line, but to
me it's fairly clear.
My apologies to everyone I've offended.
