And the duck's disappearance is probably a coincidence.
I've been cut by fighting teeth, too. My boy Scirocco got his in, over
1/2" long by the time he was 2 years. Other boys don't have them that
long until they're over 3. And they do keep growing, so even though
that sharp, pointy tip is cut off, the sides are still razors and when
they get above the gumline, they do need to be trimmed again.
