Re: [AlpacaTalk] Re: Fwd: Current status of group
Scolding you?? Hardly.? As Heather mentioned, we are all adults, we can treat each other with respect, and as Toni mentioned, we can appreciate and deal with our differenced like adults (thats a bit of a paraphrase, but was what I got out of her post).? And as I said in the below quote, I should have kept my mouth shut.? The thing that made me jump in on this subject was the bashing part, not the who part.? I have nothing against Rick, but its not like we have dinner every week either.? Bash anyone, and I'm likely to jump in and tell you it makes you look bad.
I think I have mentioned several times in the last 3 days that I haven't been on AS for a long time - I wasn't even aware of the month long moderator thing.? I started scouting around on Wednesday or Thursday last week because when I tried to log on I got a "no activity in the last 7 days" message, and was unable to search the archives.? That is about all I do with AS now, and scan the digest to see if there are any ALPACA RELATED subjects being discussed.? Like worms and e-coli, which I had to treat for.? This kind of discussion does me no good.

Heidi,
First, this site is supposed to be about ANYTHING in
the alpaca industry and its participants and not have
topics or people be censored to appease certain
persons. Please stop scolding us.
The other thing is that I was not present on AS
because I long ago got sick of it. I did not see the
fall out with Rick and am wondering what happened. You
may have been reading all the posts on AS, and that is
fine, but I didn't, so what is old news to you, may
not be for the rest of us.
In my last post, I actually stuck up for him in my own
way, trying to say that most of us are guilty as some
point or another (and more times than that) of being a
jerk or saying things we shouldn't. That is human
nature. Some people are more passionate than others
and some wake up on the wrong side of the bed.
We have a show that we are attending this weekend so
we have not been sitting in front of the computer.
Other people have things to do and are not watching
the posts roll in on the screen. It may take a day or
more for a response. Just because a post is answered
the next day or more doesn't mean that it is being
dragged on and on. It just means that they have other
things to do and are responding to posts when they
have the chance.
