Hello,
Thank you for your interest in selling fiber.
I am continuing to streamline my alpaca fiber buying program.
Shearing time is upon us and so once again time to decide what to do
with all that fiber.
Do I send my best fiber at my expense and hope to get a check ?
Do I pay someone to sort my fiber then send it at my expense and hope
to have a product I or someone else can sell?
Do I sort, skirt and send it out to be made into yarn to sell myself?
These options all have their benefits.
Let me offer you one more :
I will pick up your Huacaya or Suri fiber at your farm and pay you $
4.50 per lb for the blankets under 30 micron. I will also buy your
seconds ( neck and chest) under 30 microns for $ 2.00 per lb.
For thirds and any fiber over 30 microns I will pay $ 1.00 per lb.
Your fiber will be individually weighed and you will receive a list of
each weight with your receipt.
All fiber will be sorted and skirted before it is weighed.
I am buying all colors
I have only one woman who is just now learning to sort and skirt it is
a very slow process at the moment.
Please be patient your fiber will be sorted, skirted and weighed in
the order it is received.
I am picking up at some larger farms so if they are in front of you it
will be a while before you will receive a check.

We are scheduling pickups to start after the shearing season so if you
would like to have your fiber picked up at your farm email us and we
will put your farm on our pickup list.
We are developing a product line that will include unique elegant hand
made items and US made alpaca fabric and products.
So dust off those bags of fiber and lets show the world we have enough
fiber here in North America to establish our own market influence.
Add it up 100,000 alpacas in America 3lbs of blanket each equals
300,000 lbs of fiber lets make it work for us.
