hi Heidi - i looked up the sources of information you suggested re BEW's - thanks very much - i especially liked the charts that enable predicting a BEW (as much as possible) - I will continue to search out more information but i'm not worrying about a BEW being born into my herd anymore - everything is manageable.

he reasons why they would, and would not, buy a BEW.? Mainly its financial,
ecause if you breed them right, there is not issue with it in the offspring.?
nd not all are deaf - even the ones who are don't pass it on with proper
reeding, and most are able to cope fine with the assistance of their hearing
ounterparts.
