Re: [AlpacaTalk] Re: Other alpaca discussion groups

I guess I'm a Pollyanna, always have been.
I think of the good in everyone. ( I work with the criminally insane with limited intelligence), for 24 years.

Unfortunately, I don't think anyone is talking about posts being
delayed. I know I wasn't. If that IS what someone meant, please say so!

We are talking about, on Yahoo groups, when the moderator puts your
membership on "moderate," thereby making it necessary for him/her to
approve, deny, or ignore this post. If it is approved, it is posted to
the forum. If ignored, it will expire in 14 days, and effectively be
denied. Or, the moderator deletes it after you have posted it, even
though your membership is not "moderated."

On another group, the moderator can edit message posts, and on this
other group, moderators have seen fit to inject personal opinions and
insults to me in their [moderator edits]. I have been publicly
chastised by one or more moderator on that group, in that fashion, and
then told "moderator decisions are final, not to be questioned or
ridiculed in public" and a lot of other things verging on threats.
