[AlpacaTalk] Re: Insurance
Hi Marianne,
Yep, I'd say I'm just A BIT involved with birds...LOL! Not as a
breeder, but I've taken in so many unwanted/abused/abandoned birds
that I've probably got a few breeders beaten, in the quantitiy
department! My zoo includes 1 Sulphur Crested Cockatoo, 1 Indian
Ringneck, 2 Nandays, 4 Quakers, 4 Lovebirds, 5 Cockatiels, and 7
Budgies. Right now...that is! Who knows what the next phone call or
doorbell ring will bring? Word of mouth can be the best, (or worst,
in the case of stetching me to the limit) advertising! I'd add the
list of all the mammals and fish that have found they're way to me,
but I'd need too many MB of memory to send that list! ;>
Animals have always been in my life, so alpacas won't be such a
stretch. I'd been looking for a small farm to better house all my
critters, even before attending my first 'paca show. Now the farm
makes even MORE sense, and I can't wait to move and start the new
endeavor!
Have a great day today, Marianne -

insurance in some states through the Farm Buereu. Each state is
different as far as cost and options go.

I use to breed birds in the earlier stages of my disability but can't
at this time.
