[Alpacasite] LAND'S END
Hello All!!
Sure have enjoyed reading all of the posts lately. It takes time to
read them all but I sure try. A little 'scared' of the bickering
back and forth but I do feel it 'helps' a newbie such as myself.
I have only been in the industry for two years and currently 5
animals and very interested in what you folks who have been in for
quite sometime think about the 'now' and the 'future'.
Anyway, to my 'subject', I purchased two polo shirts from Land's End
that are 85% cotton and 15% alpaca. Just received yesterday and
very happy with quality and softness. Also like that they are
machine washable since one is going to my bachelor brother-in-law.
I had seen an e-mail not too long ago asking if anyone had noticed
all the 'cashmere' ads this season and I did notice and hoped one
year it would be 'alpaca'. I think same person mentioned alpaca
products being sold at Land's End and Cabelas and if we all bought
something that would show interest in alpaca to those companies. So
I did order some products. Maybe this is a 'dumb' question, but is
this helping our future? I would 'assume' yes!!
On another note, I do belong to the AFCNA and buy some product
(disappointed extreme socks are backordered though) but I cannot
afford $80+ Christmas presents in their men's clothes line.
THANKS!!
